Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Legs Wax.

Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils; hair should be about 1/4 inch long. Avoid recent exfoliation, self-tanning, or strong retinoids for several days and inform your therapist about medications or sensitivities.

Sensitivity varies, but legs are typically less uncomfortable than intimate zones. Our trained estheticians use quick techniques to reduce discomfort. Numbing options and soothing aftercare are available if you’re nervous or have low pain tolerance.

Most clients enjoy smooth legs for three to six weeks, depending on individual growth cycles and hormones. Regular waxing can delay regrowth by weakening follicles, so maintenance every four to six weeks is recommended for best results.

Shaving between waxes is not recommended because it removes the root that waxing targets. If you shave, you’ll need to regrow hair to roughly 1/4 inch before your next appointment. Light trimming is acceptable without disrupting results.

Avoid waxing on sunburned, irritated, or recently tanned skin. Certain medications, retinoids, chemical peels, or active skin conditions increase risk. Inform us about varicose veins, blood thinners, pregnancy, or severe allergies before treatment.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and fragrance-free moisturizers, exfoliate lightly after 48 hours, and apply calming aloe or cooling lotion for any redness or sensitivity.
